Improved

Nerfed Katana's movement speed from 55 units/s to 45 units/s. It was a tad too fast.
Icons for all escape menu navigation entries
Instant role shop open/close (no more fade transition)
Loadout tab now has icons showing the weapon with the skin applied
You can now equip skins for weapons even if you don't have the weapon equipped
Stalkyard now spawns fewer clues in an effort to prevent players from gaining extra guns too fast on that specific map

Fixed

Team-kill penalties no longer trigger during round-end grace period
Murderer overhead tag hidden when spectating teammate in first-person
Ragdoll collision sound glitch
You will no longer see the "Knife Thrower" upgrade if you have a katana as it wont do anything
An issue where tutorial hints would not show the proper icon for the input

Known issues

Ability to push others out of the map. We are working on fixing this.
Fate tree hitboxes being very annoying.

🎨 Six new cosmetic categories — animated nicknames, knife skins, Detective pistol skins, hats, back accessories (wings/capes/backpacks layered on top of clothing), and emotes.
😀 Emote wheel — hold G and drag the mouse in any direction to fire off an emote that floats above your head. Configure the six slots in your inventory.
📦 New cases packed with all the cosmetics above, plus rare PNG emotes for top-tier drops.
🏆 Steam achievements wired up — first case opened, first shooting-range streak, first round won. More to follow.
🎯 Background matchmaking — hit Play and the search starts in the background. While you wait you can walk straight into the shooting range and warm up your aim. The moment a lobby is ready, you get pulled into the match.

✨ Full UI redesign — cleaner layouts, smoother animations, correct rarity colors on every card.
✨ Case preview at the shop now shows live-animated nicknames (glitch shakes, neon glows, fire flickers — exactly how they'll look in-game) and a click-to-zoom popup for every drop.
✨ Case drops are now sorted by rarity — Legendary → Common — so the top prizes are always visible first.
