About

Global Rush streams the real world from OpenStreetMap at 1:1 scale. Find the street
you live on, buy the building, split it into apartments, shops, offices and workshops,

and rent them out. The world is persistent. What you own stays yours between sessions,
and a good address is gone once somebody else takes it.

Property

  • You buy single units, not whole houses: apartments, shops, offices, workshops.
  • Rent and occupancy follow city size, location, condition and how saturated the local market already is. Vacancy eats your rent.
  • Fit out floors and repair the building to raise value and occupancy.
  • Offer a unit to another player for a rent per minute. Either side can end the lease.

Land, production, trade

  • Buy farmland, meadow, forest, vineyard or quarry and choose what it yields. 13 raw goods, from wheat and timber to clay and ore.
  • Found one of 24 businesses in a room you own or rent: mill, sawmill, brickworks, dairy, brewery, steelworks, tailor, print shop, restaurant, supermarket, hotel and more.
  • Buy fixtures that take up floor space and pay you back in pace, workplaces, quality or loading capacity. Need more room, buy the unit next door.
  • Sell on the commodity exchange with a live order book, recent fills, price history and a watchlist, or straight into city markets that consume goods by real population.

Logistics

  • Ship a single load at a quoted price, or buy trucks, freight trains and barges and run scheduled routes with their own interval and a reserve at the origin.
  • Stations and ports work as hubs. Set your own tariff, or close them for orders.
  • Droughts, floods, roadworks and rail strikes take routes and hubs down.

Company, city, rivals

  • Five company levels, from sole trader to conglomerate. They unlock renting out, auctions, rail, research, standing deals and shares, and raise your credit line.
  • Research four lines, set wage levels, buy shares in rival firms and take control.
  • Trade licences per city are limited by population. If every slot is taken, challenge a holder and the slot goes to auction.
  • Run for mayor, one vote per property. The mayor sets the city tax and spends the treasury on market days, roads or housing.
  • Boom, steady and recession move prices, rents, demand and interest for everyone.
  • AI firms buy, produce, trade and bid against you, in the same cities.

What this is not

here is no avatar and no walking. You see the world through a camera that goes from street level up to a full globe. You cannot build or demolish. The world is the OSM world, you buy into it.
