About

BL1NK

A block tips off the ledge and free-falls down a shifting neon shaft. Hazards crowd the path and only the gaps will see you through — dark means death, lit green means go. One wrong line and the run is over.

How it works

You fall automatically — steering is the only thing in your hands. Slide through the openings, and hold to dive when you want to push your luck: faster means more score and less time to react. Skim a hazard without touching it to "graze" and stack a combo multiplier; coins, gates and bonus rings all feed it. The deeper you fall the faster it gets, cycling through brighter, denser biomes, and a green arrow always points you toward the next gap.

  • Run — endless solo drop; survive as long as you can
  • Daily — one fixed course, the same for everyone, every day
  • Race — up to five players drop the same course at once; last one falling wins

Version 0.3.0 The Morning After Release Much calmer pace — base fall speed and the difficulty ramp slowed substantially; diving is now the way to go fast. Far less disorienting. 8 changes

Improved

  • Much calmer pace — base fall speed and the difficulty ramp slowed substantially; diving is now the way to go fast. Far less disorienting.
  • Readability — hazards are dark with bright red rims, safe lanes glow green, and the camera sits back and looks further down the shaft so you see what's coming.
  • Gates reworked — thinner walls that no longer block the view of what's behind them, bigger gaps, and a large clear run-out so nothing hides in a wall's shadow.
  • Softer visuals — less screen shake, gentler spin, pastel tunnel colors, fewer wind streaks.
  • Menu/HUD polish — stronger text contrast, fixed button and character-name sizing.

Fixed

  • Music no longer cuts out on death or pickups.

Removed

  • All one-off sound effects — replaced by a single continuous music track that swells on big moments (pickups, rings, shield saves).
  • Camouflaged same-color obstacles that blended into the background.
Version 0.2.0 Big Drop — Gameplay Overhaul + Multiplayer Dive — hold Space / Left Click to fall faster for more score at more risk 24 changes

Added

  • Dive — hold Space / Left Click to fall faster for more score at more risk
  • Combo system — graze hazards and chain coins/rings to build a multiplier up to x8
  • New hazards — slaloms, rotating spinners, gates with a gap to thread, and bonus rings to fly through
  • Six escalating biomes with their own palettes and speed steps
  • Power-ups — shield, magnet, slow-mo, 2x score
  • Daily Challenge — one fixed seeded course for everyone, every day
  • Missions — rotating objectives that pay coins
  • Ghost racing — your best run replays beside you
  • 5-player Race mode — host or join a Steam lobby and drop the same course together; last one falling wins
  • Guidance — green rings and a directional arrow mark the safe path
  • Global leaderboard now records and displays high scores

Improved

  • Hazards are far more readable: dark, red-rimmed danger vs lit-green safe lanes
  • Reduced obstacle density and widened spacing for fairer runs
  • Stronger HUD contrast so text reads on any background
  • Consistent hover feedback across menu buttons
  • Cleaner character-select and lobby layouts

Fixed

  • Leaderboard now actually reads/writes scores (correct stat query + best-score aggregation)
  • Multiplier no longer renders as raw text while diving
  • VS button text overflow
  • Several compile and sandbox-whitelist issues

Removed

  • Camouflaged same-color obstacles that blended into the background

Known issues

  • Multiplayer is newly added and lightly tested — please report any sync hiccups
  • "Highlight my own row" on the leaderboard is temporarily off
  • No pre-race countdown yet; the host starts manually
