# Super S& Box

Super S& Box is a 3D platform fighter built for s&box. Matches are decided by *stocks*, not a depleting health bar. You stay in the fight until you run out of lives. Damage makes you easier to launch. The win condition is putting the other fighter past the *blast zone* — off the side, through the floor, or straight up.
- What a match is
Each player starts with a set number of stocks. Getting knocked off the stage costs one. When you have no stocks left, you are out. The last fighter still standing takes the win.
If the clock expires with more than one player alive, the match goes to *overtime*. Someone has to leave the stage. There is no sitting on a lead until the timer dies.
Last stock changes the pace. That is when recoveries get honest and one mistake ends the set.
- How a stock is lost
- **Side blast zone** — the standard ring-out. Enough knockback and they do not make it back.
- **Bottom blast zone** — missed recoveries, spikes, and failed ledge grabs.
- **Top blast zone** — a vertical kill. Launch them high enough and they do not come back.
- **Mutual fall** — you can take someone with you. It costs your stock. It can still be the right trade.
Spacing, ledge work, and getting back onto the stage matter as much as the hit that started the combo. A stock you give away off-stage is still a stock.
- How you play
- **Casual matches** — jump in, learn the stage, spend stocks, figure out recoveries.
- **Ranked** — the match counts on the ladder. A first ranked win puts you on the board.
- **Private lobbies** — host for your own crew. Invite only. No public matchmaking in the room.
Free-for-all and 1v1 are both supported. Bring a full lobby or settle it one-on-one.

- What to expect
Rounds are short and readable. You can play a few casual games, host a private lobby for your crew, or take it to ranked when you can close a stock lead.
If you have played a stock-based platform fighter, you already know the job: stay on the stage, put them off it. If you have not, start in multiplayer, spend stocks learning recoveries and blast lines, then queue ranked when a win feels earned.
