Alex has been missing for eleven days. His computer is still on, and the police are
on their way up.
You have twenty-four minutes.
At 24:00 the hardware clock fires IRQ_0, the room rolls back, and the machine wakes
up exactly where it started — the same unread mail, the same half-finished
conversations, the same locked file. It remembers nothing.
1440 is an investigation played entirely on a desktop. No HUD, no objective
markers, no tutorial. Everything you learn, you learn from what is on the disk:
Alex's journal, his browser history, a daemon that fails the same way every cycle,
an IRC channel where someone is still waiting for him.

- NetTalk — conversations that stop mid-sentence
- NetRelay95 — an IRC server, and a contact who answers what you actually type
- HexEdit95 — a memory dump that is not empty
- Web Browser 95, MemoPad, Calculator — and Minesweeper, if the loop gets long
Four endings
Nobody asks you to choose. The ending you get is the state you left the system in
when the clock runs out: a port, a register, a file sent or not sent. There is no
dialogue wheel. There is a machine, and what you did to it.
