Version 1.1.0 Frostpeak Mountains update New location: Frostpeak Mountains, featuring 6 new levels 12 changes

Added

  • New location: Frostpeak Mountains, featuring 6 new levels
  • Environmental effects, currently only applicable for Frostpeak Mountains, which has "cooling". Reduces heat buildup for daytime levels (easier), but increases freezing rate for nighttime levels (harder)
  • Added burning/freezing sound effects
  • Added night time music variation
  • Main menu UI fading animations, but not for the pause menu

Improved

  • Adjusted color values in night time levels, resulting in increased contrasting shadows for gameplay clarity
  • For faster implementation of future content, scaling has been fixed for all levels. This affects the spirit fox's movement, but it should overall be similar to the previous version
  • Shinewood Forest: Improved gameplay balance by shrinking and consuming trees for nighttime levels, while adding and swole-ing existing trees for daytime levels

Fixed

  • Butterfly guide should now have the correct orientation
  • Fixed a critical bug that caused tree leaves not to fade out on low Anti Aliasing setting, causing night levels to become near-impossible to complete. This is suspected to be from an s&box update as nothing was changed, updating the game without changes seems to have fixed it
  • Possibly fixed a bug where the mouse icon would display even when the level has started

Known issues

  • Last daytime and nighttime level of snowpeak mountains may have some performance issues (those pinetrees)
