About

Toad Throne is a single-player idle clicker set in a dark swamp, where you feed a toad monarch, grow a pond into an empire, and trade whole dynasties for permanent power.

It starts with a tongue. Click the toad to catch flies and keep the tempo: a thirty-tap streak raises manual income by sixty percent, critical bites start at five percent for triple damage, and the Royal Croak meter fills only while the croak is off, so five times income for fifteen seconds is a reward for rhythm rather than a background hum. Once the pond can carry itself, ten tiers of holdings take over, from a tadpole nursery at fifteen flies to a primordial mire at a hundred and sixty billion.

The swamp does not sit still. Four seasons rotate every forty-five seconds, each bending the economy a different way. Events run alongside them, from mosquito swarms and droughts to frog rain and a travelling newt merchant, and four bosses play by their own rules: one shields, one steals your loot, one heals, one races the clock. In the royal court you seat three advisors out of five, take a decree, choose a territory and equip a single relic.

The bog casino takes bets only in flies you caught yourself, never in real money. Slots, minesweeper, plinko and cases with visible odds all pay back less than they take, and wagered flies count against your progress, so the tables cannot be farmed.

At a million flies you call an eclipse: the run resets and you keep amber for eight permanent legacies. After twelve eclipses, apotheosis resets the amber branch itself for crown shards.
