About
π Diamond
Brave the temple. Claim your diamonds. Know when to run.
Diamond is a multiplayer push-your-luck expedition for 1 to 8 players. Your crew delves into a lost Inca temple, room after room, and every room can make you rich... or cost you everything.
How it works
At the start of each round, the whole crew walks into the temple together. Each new room reveals what it holds:
- π Diamonds: shared equally between every explorer still inside. What cannot be split stays on the floor.
- β οΈ Hazards: five dangers lurk in the temple: π snakes, π§ mummies, π₯ fire, πͺ¨ rockfalls and π· spiders. Meet the same hazard twice in a round and disaster strikes: everyone still inside loses their bag.
- πΊ Relics: one more hides in the temple each round. Only an explorer who returns to camp alone can carry it out.
After every room, everyone votes in secret: push deeper or return to camp. The votes are revealed together. Those who turn back share the diamonds left on the floor and lock their bag in their chest. Those who stay gamble for more.
Five rounds
A game lasts five rounds, with a new temple every time. A hazard that caused a disaster leaves the temple for the rest of the game: the temple gets a little safer, but the stakes keep rising.
At the end the chests are opened. Relics are worth 5 points, and 10 for the last two. The richest explorer wins.
