Start with guided Pro Training, build your confidence, then bring what you’ve learned to the multiplayer Club. No experience required. Feathers optional.
Learn basic strategy the right way
Keep the strategy chart beside you, get immediate feedback on your decisions, or turn down the assistance when you’re ready to test yourself. Hoot explains the recommended move and why it makes sense.
- Basic Strategy play complete hands with optional hints, a visible chart and decision feedback.
- Focused Strategy Drills practice hard totals, soft hands, pairs, doubling and late surrender. After answering, play out that same hand to see how it finishes.
- Hoot’s Five tackle five untimed decisions, review your mistakes and try a suggested focus for your next session.

Your practice table, your rules
Start with the standard six-deck game, or explore the solo Rules Lab:
- 1–8 decks
- Dealer hits or stands on soft 17
- Insurance and late surrender on/off
- Double after split, resplitting and customizable ace rules
- Blackjack payouts of 3:2 or 6:5
The chart reflects supported rule changes, with notes explaining the limits of unusual configurations.
Train card counting two ways
Deck Counting Drills - practice the Hi-Lo running count at an adjustable pace. Pause, check your answer and continue through as many shoes as you like.
Live-Game Counting - follow an automatically played blackjack table as cards arrive, hands develop and the dealer reveals the hidden card. Check your running count between rounds and build confidence keeping up with a moving game.
See your progress
Your Insights notebook separates good decisions from lucky outcomes. Review strategy accuracy, wins, losses, pushes, net Birdie Coins and recent-result charts, with separate Solo and Club records.

Join player hosted multiplayer rooms with up to four players per table. Choose from four stake levels Nest, Aviary, Canopy and Summit with additional matching tables available as needed.
Add Computer Terries to fill spare chairs, share reactions with friends and keep the game moving with 20-second turns. Clear player labels and glowing active split hands help you follow the action.
Compare net winnings and hands won on all-time and monthly leaderboards, or check the current room’s Birdie Coin standings.
Give your learning some style
Work toward 26 Blackjack achievements, earn XP and unlock new table felts and Professor Hoot hats—including birthday, wizard and sorcerer styles. Double-XP windows run for 15 minutes every two hours.
