Void Miners

akn.voidminer

Space mining co-op: go further into the void for the good ore, just don't run out of oxygen out there.

About

Mine the asteroid belts. Watch your oxygen. Don't fly further than you can make it back.

Void Miner is a zero-gravity space mining game. You work out of a lone station on the edge of an asteroid field, and everything you own you have to drag back from the void yourself. Fly out, mine ore out of the rocks with your mining laser, and haul it home, all while the clock on your oxygen tank keeps ticking down.

Push too far and you'll find out the hard way. Run dry in open space and you drop every piece of ore you were carrying. Your stash, your credits and your upgrades survive, so the climb is always forward, even when a run ends badly.

Sell your haul, pour the credits into your gear, and reach the belts that used to be a death sentence.

KEY FEATURES

  • Oxygen is your timer. It drains the moment you leave the station and only refills back home. Every trip is a bet on how far you can go and still make it back.
  • Fly in zero-g. Full six-direction movement through the field. Ascend, descend, and drift between rocks with thruster-driven flight.
  • Mine with a laser. Lock onto an asteroid, hold the trigger, and tear the ore loose. Better drills mine them even faster!
  • Three asteroid belts. Cheap and safe near home, serious money out at the edge. coal and iron up close, zenith and volcanic stone for those willing to risk the long trip.
  • Upgrade your rig. Bigger oxygen tank, faster drill, larger cargo, stronger thrusters. Every upgrade makes you explore further.
  • Bring friends. Jump into the same field together and mine the belts side by side.

Even though v1.0 is released, Void Miner is still in active development. Crafting, an ore scanner, lobby-wide buffs, late-game gear and cosmetics are on the way. Your reviews and feedback shape what gets built next so make sure to leave a review!
