COLDHEARTH is a single-player survival city builder about a small settlement gathered around an enormous furnace, the last source of warmth in a frozen wasteland.
You begin with 48 survivors, limited supplies, and no homes. Build shelter, assign workers, feed the city, and prepare for the Whiteout. Every new building needs people to run it. Every extra hour of work takes something out of them.
BUILD A CITY THAT CAN SURVIVE
Expand around the Hearth with homes, workshops, medical facilities, and industry. Research better heating, insulation, and production. Balance the needs of a growing population against the fuel that keeps everyone warm.
YOUR PEOPLE HAVE LIMITS
Workers travel to their jobs and return to rest after their shifts. Doctors treat the sick, engineers develop improvements, and gathering crews bring in essential supplies. Cold, hunger, exhaustion, and understaffing can turn a promising settlement into a crisis.
CHOOSE YOUR LAWS
Face competing proposals with lasting benefits and costs. Shape your city through a branching law system, respond to difficult events, and decide which sacrifices you are willing to make.
LOOK BEYOND THE CITY
Local resources will run out. Organize expeditions, find supplies, and welcome new survivors. Each arrival brings another pair of hands, but also another person who needs food, shelter, and warmth.
ENDURE THE WHITEOUT
Survive a fifteen-day campaign leading to a final struggle against the cold. A campaign takes roughly 2–3 hours at normal speed, depending on pauses and decisions, and has a definite ending.
Snow, drifting smoke, glowing windows, and an original soundtrack accompany your city from its first shelter to its last winter.
