About
A pinball table built inside a 1930s planetarium, around a real star atlas from 1824.
Every mission is an engraved card from Urania's Mirror, the box of star charts Sidney Hall published in London in 1824. Shoot the Observatory to start one, and its stars light up on the card, one by one, as you play. Chart all eight and the Meteor Storm begins.
On the table
- Send the captive Moon into the Sun with the upper flipper. The third strike makes a total eclipse: everything scores double for twenty seconds.
- Ride the Ecliptic, a brass wire ramp that loops round Jupiter. Light the planet first and it holds the ball for its four moons.
- Lock two balls at the Observatory for the Meteor Shower multiball: jackpots on the Comet Ramp, a million at the Observatory.
- Light the twelve signs of the zodiac on the trine bank, one element at a time.
- Line up the five planets for a grand conjunction, then loop the arch and send the Moon into the Sun to raise Urania, the muse of astronomy.
- Catch the shooting star, chain ramps into combos, and watch the table take the colour of your combo.
Leaderboard and achievements
- The Register of Observers, the table's leaderboard, shows your rank and the points you need to pass the next name.
- 24 achievements, from your first skill shot to charting the whole atlas.
- When a game ends, the card suggests the one thing to try next.
Controls
Shift or the arrow keys: flippers. Space: hold to pull the plunger, let go to launch. Up: nudge the cabinet, gently, or it tilts. A gamepad works too: triggers for the flippers, A to launch, Y to nudge.
Three balls, free play.
