About

Lead a nation. Build its strength. Choose its course.

January 1936. Your nation has an economy to sustain, a government to shape and armed forces to prepare. Sovereign Atlas brings those responsibilities into one continuous world, where industry, diplomacy and warfare depend on each other.

Choose a major power or explore smaller nations and dependent territories through the country browser. Develop production, connect supplies and decide what your country can afford to commit. Research takes time. Forces need people, equipment and supply. A plan on the map still needs the means to carry it out.

BUILD YOUR NATION

Develop civilian and military industry, manage workers and production inputs, and move goods through trade and domestic supply routes.

CHOOSE ITS DIRECTION

Research technology and pursue branching National Agendas. Country-specific political and strategic paths combine national decisions with practical requirements and effects on your nation.

WORK THROUGH DIPLOMACY

Negotiate treaties, build relationships, provide aid and respond to a changing balance of power. Dependent territories must also work within their governing relationships and autonomy.

COMMAND ITS FORCES

Organize land formations, design divisions, plan fronts and coordinate air and naval operations. Equipment, transport, fuel and supply shape what those forces can do.

SET THE WORLD'S COURSE

Choose Historical, Balanced or Alternate History behavior. Historical mode guides national choices; it does not guarantee dates, victories or a fixed ending. Watch the world in Observer mode, or choose your command depth and delegate selected responsibilities.

Known issue right now is performance stutters - handling constant AI for a whole world everchanging is tough to do with this system, working on that actively.

Version 1.0 is single-player, with save and load support, an in-game Field Manual, interface and audio settings, and English, German, French, Russian and Simplified Chinese.

Created by Gary Maxed. Featuring Gary Maxed's original Sovereign Atlas soundtrack.
