An automation engineers fantasy
Trapped on Mars with hordes of rogue AI robots trying to kill you, and all you have at your disposal is your wrench, your technical know-how, and a very large and convenient quantity of supplies. Which is thankfully all you need to create modular towers of destruction and save your bacon.
(Semi) Realistic Modular Laser Towers
Build your laser towers up using a semi-realistic dependency chain to increase damage, rate of fire, penetration, range, etc. Certain modules give certain capabilities, but everything comes at a price! Build too much and your tower is too tall, incapable of reaching the enemy. Too small and you'll max out your options. So be strategic in where you place what, and how you build! All while under the pressure of being trapped for eternity on a locked down facility with killer robots.
(Semi) Realistic Line of Sight
Being a semi-realistic tower defense simulator, real world things like line of sight play into the challenge. Towers can only shoot at what they can see, so plan accordingly when placing towers.
Play alone
You'll play alone and you'll die alone. You can't bring a friend. It's just you vs the killer robots. Have fun!
