IRON MANIFEST is a co-op heist on a moving train. Board at the caboose, work forward car by car to the engine, crack the vault, and cut her loose with as much loot aboard as you can carry. Only what's on the engine when she's cut loose gets paid.
EVERY CAR IS A JOB
- The mail car: search the sacks for the strongbox key while the clerks sort.
- The generator car: find the fuses in the dark and get the lights back on. Mind the live cables.
- The gun car: silence the turret on its roof, by jamming its feed or tying up its gunners.
- The dining car: get past the chef and knock the safe's hinge pins out, timing your blows to a crash of crockery.
- The passenger coach: act natural. Passengers notice running, creeping and stolen luggage.
- Flatbeds, a tank car, a coal tender and more. The cars, their order and what lies where change every run.
KEEP QUIET
Noise rings the Inspector's bells. One bell and he's listening; three and he's coming for you. Railwaymen walk the cars; come up behind one with empty hands and you can tie him up. A thrown bottle draws them away, smoke hides you, and on the roofs you duck for low bridges.
PLAY TOGETHER
Heavy loot takes two to lift. A crewman who goes down bleeds out unless someone gets to him in time. Contracts on the depot board unlock tools for good, and every crew rides the same weekly train until Monday, with a board for the biggest hauls and the fastest runs.
