A candle's descent into the dark
You are a tiny candle with gun boots, falling into a very dark well. Your flame is the only light down there - and it is also your life.
Stomp monsters by landing on them. Press jump in mid-air to fire your boots straight down: every shot slows your fall. Chain kills before you touch the ground for big combos, collect embers until you BLAZE, and choose an Ember of Power after every level. Six worlds deep, six guardians - how far can your little light go?
Light is life
- Your flame slowly burns down, and every hit costs a chunk of it
- The lower it burns, the smaller your candle and the less of the well you can see
- Embers, kills and combos feed it - land a 15+ combo for a big relight
- Blaze stops the burning for a while. Don't dawdle in the dark

- 6 worlds, 24 levels: The Shaft, Mushroom Hollow, Frost Veins, The Furnace, the Sunken Cathedral and The Deep - each with its own monsters and hazards: dripping water, falling icicles, fire bars, swinging censers, living darkness

Controls
- A / D or arrow keys: move
- Space (or W / Up): jump - press or hold it again in the air to fire your gun boots
- S / Down: drop through thin ledges, visit the Lamplighter's shop
- R: reroll the Embers of Power
- P: pause
- In the Chapel: walk and jump to an item, S / Enter to buy or equip it
