FOOTBALLER: Open Goal is a cozy incremental about one pitch and one
keeper.
You start on a bare lot with a single ball. Push it. It rolls a little
way, the grass slows it down, and it needs pushing again. Get it past the
keeper and it pays.
Then you stop pushing. Buy better balls, sign players who work the pitch
for you, and spend stars on a skill tree that lifts every ceiling you run
into. Before long there are hundreds of balls on the grass and you are
watching them go in.
And you do not buy the ground - you win it. Twelve matches take you from
that bare lot to a world arena, and the game tells you when the last one
is won. A focused run lands under two hours.
