Version 0.1 Patch 0.1 — Nyra, Combat & HUD Update Nyra - Added as a playable character. 31 изменений

Added

  • Nyra - Added as a playable character.
  • Hero panel - Added clearly readable attributes, a detailed panel opening on the left, and a circular level indicator with XP progress and details.
  • Items - Added an item bag showing the total collected this run. Hover or click to inspect item stacks in a compact panel on the right.
  • Maps - Discovered merchants and guardian camps now appear as colored diamonds on the minimap and full map.
  • Guardian camps - Added two more camps across the island, bringing the total to five.
  • Merchants - Added a fifth traveling item merchant north of the pond.

Improved

  • Hero panel - Rebuilt the HUD as a compact bronze panel joined to the bottom of the screen, without a portrait. Health, energy shield and Ash Shield have rounded animated bars, centered values and recovery rates; unused shield rows disappear.
  • Abilities - Added dedicated RMB icons and visible cooldowns beside dodge, with artwork filling each slot.
  • Forest Onslaught - Replaced the large framed announcement with compact text.
  • Combat cursor - Made the aiming ring thicker with a stronger outline.
  • Player marker - Changed the player marker to bright blue with a light outline on all maps.
  • Interaction hints - Replaced Reaper and traveling merchant nameplates with gently bobbing exclamation marks above their heads, with an E prompt when in reach.
  • All heroes - Now start with 0.2 HP/s regeneration and a 5% critical hit chance; item bonuses stack on top.
  • Enemy pursuit - Orks and Black Reapers now need to fall farther behind before returning around the screen, reducing sudden surrounds after a short retreat. Living enemies keep their remaining health.
  • Black Reapers - Reduced health and flight speed by a further 10%. Killed Reapers continue to be replaced to maintain their separate 100-enemy limit.
  • Early combat - Reduced ork and Shrubtooth health with smooth growth. Spearmen now join from 1:00, Shamans from 2:30 and Berserkers from 4:00. Reinforcements ramp up gradually to a base interval of 0.8 seconds.
  • Experience - Increased the base circular pickup radius from 65 to 150; pickup bonuses scale the larger radius.
  • Experience rewards - Ordinary enemies now grant 2 XP, Shamans 3 and Berserkers 4. Elites grant double XP and mini-bosses grant 20.
  • Chests - The first five paid chests cost 30, 45, 60, 75 and 90 gold. Prices rise more steeply from the sixth: 150, 225, 315, 420, 540 and upward. Free reward chests do not raise the price.
  • Crowds - Reduced scene overhead for enemies and their shadows while preserving movement and spacing.
  • Busy battles - Reduced the rendering and processing cost of projectiles, combat effects, grass animation, damage numbers, target selection and projectile collisions.
  • Experience crystals - Improved performance when thousands of crystals accumulate, preserving their appearance, XP rewards and magnet pickup.
  • Gold - Reduced rendering overhead for dropped coins and their sparkles.
  • Merchants - Traveling item merchants now leave after a purchase and disappear from both maps until the next run.

Fixed

  • Bao - Fixed visible staff hits sometimes missing enemies at the edge of the attack.
  • Kael - Fixed sword contacts missing at the blade edge or when enemies entered during the active swing.
  • Kael spin - The damage area now follows the visible trail when attack size increases. Dropped Experience Magnets remain visible above the spinning attack.
  • Russian localization - Translated Reaper contract names, terms, prompts and confirmation text.
  • Pause menu - Centered the run and tome headings and cleaned up the side borders.
  • Contract cards - Removed visible bands from the card backgrounds.
  • Island traversal - Reduced terrain-loading stutters while moving across the island and the animation-loading hitch when the horde begins at 10:00.
Gameplay Update Bao - Added soft damage sounds with three variations for both forms. 27 изменений

Added

  • Bao - Added soft damage sounds with three variations for both forms.
  • Chests - Added a BAN option with four uses per run. Discard a reward to prevent that item from appearing in chests again for the rest of the run; the button shows uses remaining.
  • Cursors - Added a round combat reticle and a separate thorn-shaped pointer for menus, shops and reward screens.
  • Bao - Added a visible Ash Shield bar in Fury form, including support for showing Ash Shield and energy shield together.
  • Controls - Mouse aiming is now the default for new and returning players. Movement aiming remains available in Settings > Controls, and later manual choices are saved. Heroes stop during basic attacks.
  • Reaper - Added a merchant offering one contract per run: trade health or movement speed for Luck, damage or attack speed.
  • Black Reapers - After 10:00, 100 fast flying Reapers join the normal waves. Fallen Reapers are replaced, and their health and damage scale with the horde.

Improved

  • Bao - Grouped closely spaced damage sounds to keep them clear during crowded fights.
  • Bao - Temporarily available to all players without an unlock requirement.
  • Horde - Enemies grow tougher after 10:00, gaining 40% health and 12% damage per minute through gradual, compounding growth.
  • Tomes - Count upgrades now grant +1 at Rare, +2 at Epic and +3 at Legendary for meteors, icicles, lightning orbs, bubbles and plants. Repeated upgrades stack.
  • Kael - Moves 50% faster while spinning and can dodge out of a spin. Holding RMB now resumes the spin immediately after the dodge, without another wind-up.
  • Bao, Rowan and Kael - Melee attacks in Mouse mode now follow the cursor precisely, including angles between the eight character poses.
  • Chest rewards - Made the pickup icon more compact and placed it directly above the hero with a clear gap.
  • Leaderboard - Rankings now use your best single-run kill count for the selected period instead of total kills across all runs.
  • Shamans - Replaced the bright fireball with a smaller Firebolt, softer colors and a shorter trail.
  • Black Reapers - Reduced health and damage by 20% and increased spacing between them. Every defeated Reaper is replaced by a fresh one, maintaining a separate limit of 100 living Reapers.
  • Horde - Orks and Black Reapers left offscreen return from different sides, keeping their remaining health. Return points are spaced apart to reduce clumping.
  • Green Island - Reduced the island's width and height by 14.5%, keeping all 27 chests and reachable landmarks.
  • Green Island - From 10:00 to 10:20, the island gradually shifts into cold dusk, with muted grass, deeper cloud shadows and drifting ground mist.

Fixed

  • Rowan - Attack size upgrades now enlarge his sword and slash effects to match their increased reach in all eight directions.
  • Projectiles - Icicles and seeds fly farther. Water bubbles continue flying when their target dies instead of disappearing mid-flight.
  • Horde - All ork types now change colors after 10:00, including enemies already on the field. Revealed Shrubtooths also change color.
  • Chests - Pulling the lever fully down now starts opening immediately, without a second click.
  • Chests - The reel now starts from the items already visible instead of replacing them.
  • Main menu - Fixed Bao appearing off-center inside the character preview frame.
  • Level ups - No longer open an empty upgrade window when all available choices are exhausted or banned.
