## Описание

Dig the Dog is a clicker game about digging.
Uncle Rudy's dog Biscuit dug a hole in the backyard and got stuck at the bottom. You dig down through 60 layers of blocks to get him out.

How it plays
You click blocks to break them. Each block you break gives you money. When every block on a layer is gone, you move down to the next one. Deeper layers have harder blocks that pay more.
You spend money on upgrades: a stronger pickaxe, crit chance, crit damage, an auto-clicker (Hand Drill) and drill rigs. Rigs are small machines that dig blocks on their own while you click. You can have up to six, and one skill adds a seventh.
The first dig to the bottom takes about an hour to an hour and a half.
Skill tree

There are 42 skills in four groups. More of them unlock as you reach layers 12, 25 and 40, and on your second dig.
- Pickaxe: hit the blocks around the one you click, extra damage on stone, instantly break almost-broken blocks, and Frenzy (click fast to fill a meter, then every hit crits for a few seconds).
- Rigs: better drill bits, faster cooling, rigs that go for ore first, rigs that dig the block under your cursor, a seventh rig.
- Fortune: a bonus for every cleared layer, interest on your money, treasure chests hidden in layers, lucky hits worth 10 or 25 times more.
- Biscuit: after you find him, Biscuit helps. He shows where chests are, digs blocks with you and finds bones worth money.

Rig skills also change how your rigs look: new bits and new colors.

After you find Biscuit
The dig ends with a short scene at the bottom and a results screen with your time, blocks mined, money earned, chests opened, biggest crit and skills learned.
Then you can start the next dig. You keep all your upgrades and skills, the layers are laid out differently, and there is a golden chest at the bottom. Try to beat your best time.

### Rudy's Lot & the Orchard

Oct 4, 2026 · Version 1.4.0

The Orchard - a second dig site: 55 layers under an apple orchard, with its own grass, soil, mossy rock, gold and rare crystals
**Added**

- The Orchard - a second dig site: 55 layers under an apple orchard, with its own grass, soil, mossy rock, gold and rare crystals
- Roots - root blocks run down through several layers; break the top of a root and the one below it has half its health
- Old Bones' map - Biscuit's treasure holds a torn corner of an old map, and each new site's treasure holds another piece
- Site map - the map lies on Rudy's table; click it to pick where to dig next, see each site's layers and best time, and dig a cleared site again
- Story - Uncle Rudy has new radio lines for the Orchard, and there is something at the bottom
- Rudy's lot - the first dig site is rebuilt: Rudy's house, the street, cars and trees around a cleared lot
- Light - warm evening light baked in Blender, with shadows on the ground, on the pit walls and on the blocks
- Shadows - blocks shade the blocks around them, and rigs and Biscuit cast soft shadows
- Pit walls - the walls of the pit show the rock layers of the site you are digging
- Climb up - a button in the sidebar takes the camera up for a wide view of the town while the rigs keep digging
- Layer meter - the meter shows the site's rock layers as blocks, with the layer you are on
- Stats page - the game menu has a Stats page: play time, digs, blocks, clicks, money, crits, chests and each site's best time
- Apple of My Eye - clear the Orchard

**Improved**

- Biscuit - with Dig Buddy he digs with you and jumps into the treasure pit when the last block breaks; there is only ever one Biscuit
- Treasure pit - the floor under the treasure no longer flickers
- Rigs - rigs are quieter when you look at the town from above or at the map
- Size - the game files are smaller even with two dig sites: about 86 MB

**Removed**

- Backyard - the old backyard is replaced by Rudy's lot
- Round number - the layer meter no longer shows the dig number (your digs are on the Stats page)
