## Описание

You start with a server, a little money and nobody online.

TICKRATE is a management game about running a game server that people actually want to play on. Not a shooter, not a sandbox. A control panel, a chat window that never stops moving, and a pile of small decisions that only look small until you add them up.

Players arrive once you give them a reason to. Then they start reporting each other.

Every report lands in a queue with its evidence attached: accuracy, headshot rate, movement telemetry, chat logs, a note from whoever filed it. None of it is conclusive. A genuinely good player puts up numbers that look exactly like a cheater's, and the anti-cheat plugin you bought has opinions rather than proof. Ban the wrong person and you lose them for good, along with the reputation you spent two weeks earning.

The machine underneath you has limits too. Every plugin costs tickrate. Every player costs tickrate. Below 25 the game stutters and people leave without saying why. A bigger hosting plan fixes that and takes a full day of downtime to migrate.

You will be offered money, repeatedly. A donor wants admin rights. Someone found a duplication exploit and will sell you the details. The store moves real advantages, and every advantage you sell makes the chat a little angrier.

Hire moderators and one of them will quietly unban his friends for cash. Read the audit log.

Thirty days, or forty five, or sixty. One game day is three real minutes.

Every player on your server is simulated on your own machine. Nothing connects anywhere.

### Break-ins and Ransoms

Sep 10, 2026 · Version 1.1.0

Server breaches - somebody gets in through the admin panel, a moderator account or a plugin, and the chain plays out over several days instead of resolving in one click
**Added**

- Server breaches - somebody gets in through the admin panel, a moderator account or a plugin, and the chain plays out over several days instead of resolving in one click
- Ransom demands - they take a copy of the player database and name a price, scaled to how many records you hold and how much you have earned this season
- Public leaks - miss the deadline and the database goes up on a board: reputation falls hard, toxicity spikes and some players never come back
- Firewall - refuses outside requests to the panel and to plugins
- Staff MFA - a stolen moderator password stops being enough on its own
- Encrypted records - a stolen copy is noise, and it lets you publish the whole thing yourself and come out ahead

**Improved**

- Logger now detects intrusions - without it the first you hear about a break in is the ransom demand
- Paying is not a clean exit - it usually works, it sometimes does not, and it marks the server as one that pays
- Incidents tab shows security separately - a live break in is flagged in red and counted in the sidebar badge

**Fixed**

- Tickrate drift lost its minus sign - the bundled fonts carry no typographic minus, so it read as drift4
- Arrows and check marks rendered as nothing - replaced with characters the fonts actually have
- Doubled currency symbol in the ransom text
- A breach could start too late in a season - its deadline fell past the last day, so it could never be answered
- Only one breach per season was possible - the state never reset after one closed

**Known issues**

- Reputation can sit at 100 while toxicity is near it - an unattended server can also lose most of its online inside a single day
