## Description

LuckyHook combines relaxing fishing gameplay with CS2-inspired case opening and deep progression systems. Cast your line into a dynamic world where real-time weather and a day/night cycle decide what is biting. Every species fights differently, so landing a big one comes down to timing, not luck. Take your boat out to ocean hotspots, and when the sea turns dangerous, go hunt the Megalodon.
Grow your collection across 170 species, track size and weight records in the Codex, and unlock rare rod and bobber skins through exciting roulette case openings.

Then turn your catch into a business: process it at six station types, refine it up to Masterpiece quality, stack it on pallets and ship it to the export merchant. Buy your own warehouse once and build it into a private factory that workers and factory plans run for you.

You are not alone out there. Join a crew, challenge nearby players to a Match Fishing duel for a gold stake, sell to tourists at your own market stand, and visit other players' warehouses.

Manage everything from your in-game tablet: inventory, Codex, cases, weather forecast, auto rods, quests, progress, factory, workers, crew, events and settings, all in one place.

AI tools were used during development to generate and optimize select in-game assets.

 Islands:
🗺️ Stonereach Isle, home to a secret lake with 5 exclusive Legendary fish.
🌴 Palm Beach, a saltwater cove with 7 exclusive fish species.

🎣 THE ROD
Skill-based fishing: charge your cast, hit the Perfect Cast prompt mid-flight, then fight the fish through hookset, calm, surge and jump phases
5 fight styles (steady, runner, digger, jumper, stubborn) — every species fights differently
170 fish species across rivers, lakes and the open sea, with a Fish Codex, size and weight records
Cast distance pays off: the further your bait lands, the sooner a fish bites
🌦️ Dynamic weather (sunny, rain, storm, fog) and a real-time day/night cycle with 6 times of day — many fish only bite at certain hours

⚙️ GEAR & PROGRESSION
📦 cases with roulette openings, for rod and bobber skins across 5 rarity tiers
🔨 Rod Smith: dismantle old rods, reroll stats for enchanted (or corrupted) results, craft Mystic Rods from legendary catches
🎁 Case Forge: trade up duplicate skins into higher rarities
🪱 booster baits, plus your own bait line: shred and press catches into custom bait at the Bait Station
⚙️ Auto rods in 4 tiers, up to 10 running at once
📋 daily quest types (3 active each day), NPC contracts and harbour orders, 30 days of login rewards

🌊 THE WORLD
🚤 boats for trips to time-limited ocean hotspots with bonus chances
🦈 Megalodon: a rare open-sea event, hookable only from a boat with an epic rod and a rare bobber
🏆 Live tournaments — while the window is open, the biggest catch anywhere on the map wins
🦀 Crab traps and shellfish species with their own codex, plus a crab cookery station
🏖️ Dig the beach with a shovel for bait, shells, gold, treasure and cases
🛺 Scooters and ATVs, radios, palm totems and NPC vendors around the island

🏭 YOUR WAREHOUSE
🏠 Buy your own hall once and turn it into a private factory
🏭 6 processing station types (filleting, smoking, curing, drying, packaging, crab cookery), 3 upgrade tiers each, up to Masterpiece quality
📈 Refine, stack on pallets and ship to the daily export merchant at fluctuating prices
🤖 Factory plans and hired workers automate the whole post-catch chain
🧪 Alchemy lab, breeding basin, aquariums, fish tanks and byproduct storage
🧱 Build it out with decor pieces, including walls, doors, furniture and plushies

🤝 MULTIPLAYER
Crews with a global crew leaderboard
⚔️ Match Fishing: challenge a nearby player to a 5 minute duel for a gold stake
🏪 Market stands sell to wandering tourists, and a cross-session marketplace trades rods and bobbers
🚪 Visit other players' warehouses by session, crew or 8-character code — even while they're offline

## Updates

### Added: \[2026-08-27\] New skill tree: every level up now gives a skill point to spend on the…

Aug 27, 2026

\[2026-08-27\] The Harbourmaster can untie your whole Knot Board and refund every skill point. The first reset is free, after that it costs gold by level (always free below level 10)
**Added**

- \[2026-08-27\] New skill tree: every level up now gives a skill point to spend on the Knot Board in the Tablet's PROGRESS tab, with three ropes (casting, the fight, dockside work) and Mastery ranks past each capstone. Levels you already have are paid out retroactively
- \[2026-08-27\] The Harbourmaster can untie your whole Knot Board and refund every skill point. The first reset is free, after that it costs gold by level (always free below level 10)
- \[2026-08-27\] New fight tricks from the Rod Hand skills: a SURGE warning before the fish bolts, a solid hook set that tires the fish, and Second Wind, which holds a snapping line once per fight
- \[2026-08-27\] New achievement: Rope Master, for tying every knot on one rope of the Knot Board
- \[2026-08-26\] The tackle box now has a Seed Packets tray and a Harvest Basket: seeds show their grow time, fish meal cost and yield, the harvest its quality, and both remind you they go into the Bait Press
- \[2026-08-27\] Tracked Rods: rods from Rod Boxes and the Rod Smith's forge now have a small chance to come with a catch tracker built in. It counts every fish you land with that rod (plus Rare-or-better catches and your biggest one), shows the count on the rod itself in the world, and travels with the rod on the Marketplace. Trade-Ups leave tracked rods alone.

**Improved**

- \[2026-08-27\] NPCs now greet you differently depending on the weather, time of day, what's in your hold and how often you've dropped by, and every one has a small talk option with fresh lines each click. Their speech now types out letter by letter; click the bubble to skip.
- \[2026-08-27\] Sunset and sunrise now follow the actual sun instead of the clock: the sky glows orange at the horizon while the top stays blue, twilight fades through purple into night, and the water no longer reflects an orange sky while the moon is already up
- \[2026-08-26\] Index cards now show up when you hover an item, in the Fisher Pad and at every station and shop with a card (tank, pallet, market stand, chest, aquarium, merchant, Rod Smith, boat dealer, Case Forge); a click pins the card so it stays while you use its buttons
- \[2026-08-27\] The rod preview in the Fisher Pad's Loadout is lit properly now: warm key light, cool fill and a rim light on a white backdrop, the rod lies across the frame and sways gently instead of spinning, and the camera frames it from the rod's real size

**Fixed**

- \[2026-08-27\] Bug fixed: other players' bobbers showed up with your own bobber skin instead of theirs. Everyone now sees the skin its owner actually has equipped

### Added: \[2026-08-26\] You can now pick your fishing line's colour in the Tablet's Loadout tab,…

Aug 26, 2026

\[2026-08-26\] Shredding a fish can now also drop a byproduct (Fish Meal, Fish Oil, Roe), much rarer than filleting - the shredder list shows each fish's chance
**Added**

- \[2026-08-26\] You can now pick your fishing line's colour in the Tablet's Loadout tab, 8 colours, purely cosmetic

**Improved**

- \[2026-08-26\] Shredding a fish can now also drop a byproduct (Fish Meal, Fish Oil, Roe), much rarer than filleting - the shredder list shows each fish's chance
- \[2026-08-26\] Fishing line now hangs in a real curve instead of being a straight string, and pulls tight when the fish does
- \[2026-08-26\] The bobber sits on the actual water line and bobs like a float: it dunks when it lands, rocks harder in rain and storms, and tips towards you when the line is pulled
- \[2026-08-26\] Short click while waiting twitches the bait, spreading rings and making fish bite a bit sooner
- \[2026-08-26\] Hold the click while waiting to reel the bait back in and fix a bad cast without throwing again
- \[2026-08-26\] The rod itself now moves: it loads up while you charge, bends under line tension and twitches on every nibble
- \[2026-08-26\] The startup loading screen now actually shows up and stays until everything you built is really back in the world, so you no longer spawn into an empty dock
- \[2026-08-26\] You can now pick your fishing line's colour in the Tablet's Loadout tab, 8 colours, purely cosmetic

**Fixed**

- \[2026-08-26\] Bug fixed: water no longer paints over nametags and world displays that sit in front of it

### Improved: \[2026-08-25\] NPCs (RodSmith, Export Merchant, Market Broker, Station Dealers, Hall…

Aug 25, 2026

\[2026-08-24\] Leaves now drift through the air over the island, more of them the harder the wind blows
**Improved**

- \[2026-08-25\] NPCs (RodSmith, Export Merchant, Market Broker, Station Dealers, Hall Inspector, ...) now get a random outfit each time you load in, instead of always wearing the same clothes
- \[2026-08-24\] Leaves now drift through the air over the island, more of them the harder the wind blows
- \[2026-08-24\] Leaves now fall from the trees themselves, settle on the ground, and calm down where the wind is blocked
- \[2026-08-25\] Fisher Pad: the Fish Hold tab is now an Items tab shaped like a tackle box - a bait tray, a tool rail (shovel, watering can, totem, boats, rides), a treasure tin and a cooler for your fish and shellfish. Pick anything to read its card (size vs. your record, weight, quality, worth) and the pad window is a bit bigger
- \[2026-08-25\] You can now put pressed bait on the hook straight from the tackle box card, no Action Wheel needed
- \[2026-08-25\] Fish stacks in the tackle box get a star sticker when your record-size catch of that species is in there
- \[2026-08-25\] Fisher Pad Gear tab is now a Rod Rack and a Bobber Jar - pick a rod or bobber and its card compares every bonus to what is on your line (green = better, red = worse), with Equip, Show on the bench and Sell on the card
- \[2026-08-25\] Selling a rod or bobber now takes two clicks, so a stray click can no longer sell your gear
- \[2026-08-25\] Fisher Pad Loadout is now a workbench: hang tags for rod, bobber and bait (click one to jump there), and each bonus shows how much comes from rod, bobber, bait or a totem/event
- \[2026-08-25\] Fisher Pad Quests are now a pinboard: each daily quest is a paper note with a tier strip, done notes get a red DONE stamp, the weekly goal is a poster, accepted NPC favours hang as small notes, and staking is a wager slip on the note
- \[2026-08-25\] Fisher Pad Weather is now a dock weather station: a window tinted by the sky, a clock, a bite meter that shows the time and weather multipliers, a rare meter, and a Biting Now sheet listing which species are in their active hours right now
- \[2026-08-25\] Fisher Pad Events is now a tear-off calendar with today's page big on top and the week as a strip below
- \[2026-08-25\] Fisher Pad Codex is now a field book: register tabs for fish, shellfish and treasures, the list on the left page, the picked entry on the right page with a RECORD stamp, unknown species faded with a question mark
- \[2026-08-25\] Fisher Pad Cases is now a shelf: cases stand on planks with a count tag, and every case shows its real drop odds per rarity as a bar
- \[2026-08-25\] Fisher Pad Progress is now an angling licence (level, XP tape, catches, species, streak) and a vest where achievements are sewn on as patches
- \[2026-08-25\] Fisher Pad Settings looks like a switchboard now: rocker switches and keycaps instead of plain toggles
- \[2026-08-25\] Fisher Pad Factory is now a floor plan: stations sit in process order (filleting, then smoking/curing/drying, then packaging) with belts between them, a lamp per machine (amber running, green ready), unbuilt stations show as ghost outlines, byproducts sit in a bin, and plans are work orders on a clipboard
- \[2026-08-25\] Fisher Pad Workers is now a time clock with shift, break room and job board sections; hire notes are pinned like the quest board
- \[2026-08-25\] Fisher Pad Crew is a notice board while you have no crew and a chalkboard with roster and leaderboards once you do
- \[2026-08-25\] Fisher Pad Auto has a control panel with gauges for rods, traps and rod earnings, and placed devices read as buoy tags
- \[2026-08-25\] Bug fixed: the empty Cases tab used to show a line of internal debug text
- \[2026-08-25\] Fisher Pad Factory plans are now work orders: each plan is a form with FROM tank, AT station and AS refinement fields, a status stamp (RUNNING, WAITING, DONE, HELD), a Running/On hold switch, and Shred takes two clicks. The editor is a blank form to fill in and file
- \[2026-08-25\] HUD got the same material touches as the Fisher Pad, kept flat: the weather widget has a small sky-tinted window, the daily quest is a note with a tier strip and progress line, XP is a strip of measuring tape, gold and salvage sit in two pouches, the factory widget shows one lamp per station (amber running, green ready), and the keybind chips look like keycaps
- \[2026-08-25\] Every station, trap, tank and rod on the dock now has its own sign: metal nameplates, wooden hang tags, chalkboards, clipboards and buoy tags
- \[2026-08-25\] All world signs share one status lamp: green = ready to collect, amber = working, grey = idle, red = problem (dry garden bed, spoiling output)
- \[2026-08-25\] Crab traps show their fill as notches and get a big red READY stamp when there is something to collect
- \[2026-08-25\] Breeding basins stamp HATCHED on their clipboard when offspring are waiting
- \[2026-08-25\] Garden beds now use a plant marker stake with a rising growth bar; a dry bed lights the red lamp
- \[2026-08-25\] The radio got a proper LED face, and NPC role tags are now enamel badges
- \[2026-08-25\] Fish Tank, Aquarium, Pallet, Market Stand, Gear Chest and byproduct bins now look like real containers, with your items sitting in tackle-box style pockets instead of plain lists
- \[2026-08-25\] Click any item in a station panel to pin its index card on the right, with stats and all its buttons (move, display, refill, set price) in one place
- \[2026-08-25\] Market Stand got a chalk price board that shows every slot's asking price at a glance
- \[2026-08-25\] Byproduct storage now shows each stored item with its quality instead of just a total
- \[2026-08-25\] Dismantling a station now takes two clicks on the same button, so a stray click can't take it down
- \[2026-08-25\] The Fish Merchant now has an ice counter: your catch sits in pockets on ice, stacked by species, with a price tag on each and today's wish fish marked with a x2 TODAY sticker
- \[2026-08-25\] Fish Merchant: pick a stack to see a price card with sizes and per-fish prices, sell single fish, the whole stack, or everything at the till
- \[2026-08-25\] The Bait Master's shop is now a bait fridge: bait cards on shelves show duration and bonuses, and the bait on your hook hangs on the fridge door with its remaining time
- \[2026-08-25\] The Rod Smith is now a proper forge: lay rods and bobbers on the anvil bench, read their card and dismantle them with a two-click confirm; enchanted rods wear a gold star, corrupted ones a skull
- \[2026-08-25\] Rod Smith reroll ritual now has a heat gauge that fills while the forge charges
- \[2026-08-25\] The Case Forge now has an offering bowl: see how many fish of each rarity you can offer, and each case shows its drop odds by rarity as a stacked bar before you forge it
- \[2026-08-25\] Processing stations now look like real machine panels: an input hopper, a belt and an output tray with your finished goods in pockets
- \[2026-08-25\] The bait workshop shows shredder and press side by side, with the recipe and crop choice written on a chalkboard
- \[2026-08-25\] The alchemy lab is now an apothecary shelf: bait and ingredients stand as bottles, and brewing happens in a cauldron showing purity
- \[2026-08-25\] The breeding basin got a clipboard: pick two parents into pockets, hatchlings come stamped HATCHED
- \[2026-08-25\] Garden beds now show seeds as packets on a shelf, with growth and water meters and a water bucket gauge
- \[2026-08-25\] Dismantling a station, cancelling a breeding batch and filling in a garden bed now need two clicks, so a stray click can't cost you anything
- \[2026-08-25\] Every NPC shop got its own counter: the boat dealer is now a harbour price board with chalk rows and an index card showing speed and stability bars
- \[2026-08-25\] The Station Dealer and the Warehouse shop are now ring-bound catalogue binders, with a 'N of max built' stamp on every station page

- \[2026-08-25\] The Palm Vendor sells from a beach hut: every item hangs as a paper tag with its price, owned ones are stamped
- \[2026-08-25\] The Harbourmaster and Hall Inspector now work from an office desk with paper contract and report forms, wager slips and rubber stamps
- \[2026-08-25\] The Warehouse Dealer hands over access as a key tag on a key rack
- \[2026-08-25\] Selling packaged goods or treasures now asks for a second click (Really sell? Click again) so nothing goes out by accident
- \[2026-08-26\] Bug fixed: several of the new shop and station windows were see-through over the scene, which made their text hard to read. Wood, cork and slate materials are solid now
- \[2026-08-26\] Talking to an NPC looks like a chat at the counter: an enamel name badge, a speech bubble, your questions on a notepad, and the NPC's daily job as a pinned job slip with a wager slip
- \[2026-08-26\] The player market is now a classifieds board: every listing is a pinned ad card with a yellow price tag, your own ads carry a petrol pin, and taking an ad down takes two clicks
- \[2026-08-26\] Player market: selling means writing an ad. Pick a rod, bobber or case from tackle-box pockets, set the asking price and pin it up
- \[2026-08-26\] Trading now happens on a proper trading table: your goods and theirs sit in tackle pockets on two wooden halves, and a LOCKED / ACCEPTED stamp shows where the deal stands
- \[2026-08-26\] Picking items for a trade is faster: your stock sits in a tray under the table, sorted by category, and you just click a pocket to put it on the table
- \[2026-08-26\] Trade and Match Fishing requests now show up as a pinned paper note with the other player's name big and clear
- \[2026-08-26\] The Match Fishing scoreboard is now a chalkboard with a big timer and both anglers side by side
- \[2026-08-26\] The cast power bar is now a strip of measuring tape with the power % on a little paper tag

- \[2026-08-26\] Megalodon fight now runs on dark slate plates with gold numbers so it looks like the boss fight it is
- \[2026-08-26\] Digging shows on a paper tag with a sand-coloured bar; the water cam got small LIVE / WATER CAM badges
- \[2026-08-26\] Brewing potions: a cauldron ring now shows how far along the brew is, with a bubbling progress bar under it
- \[2026-08-26\] Action wheel got a fresh look: entries are now little enamel badges, the middle is a paper tag and the key hints are real keycaps
- \[2026-08-26\] Build mode hotbar now uses tackle box pockets with taped-on owned tags, plus lamps showing whether grid snap and surface align are on
- \[2026-08-26\] Placement prompt (boats, traps, rods, etc.) is now a paper tag with LMB / RMB keycaps
- \[2026-08-26\] Notifications are now paper slips with a coloured edge (green = success, yellow = warning, red = error) and interaction hints got proper keycaps
- \[2026-08-26\] Voice chat and save indicators now use small status lamps instead of icons

Aug 7, 2026

\[2026-08-07\] New quest types: land trophy fish, chain perfect fights, package high quality goods, or run a fish from catch to export in one day

- \[2026-08-07\] NPC quests now come with a difficulty each day: easy, medium or hard, with harder ones asking for rarer fish, better bait or higher quality goods
- \[2026-08-07\] Harbourmaster contracts are now one easy, one medium and one hard per harbour instead of three random ones

- \[2026-08-07\] Rain soaks the dock, shore, quay and boat: surfaces darken, puddles form in dips with raindrops rippling in them, lamps and sky reflect in the water, and everything dries off slowly once the rain stops

- \[2026-08-07\] Switched to the new human character models

**Improved**

- \[2026-08-07\] Quest rewards are no longer paid out automatically, you now collect them in the tablet

**Added**

- \[2026-08-03\] You can now visit other players' warehouses: use the second door next to the warehouse entrance, pick someone from the session, and walk through their hall exactly as they built it - you can look at everything but touch nothing, and you don't need your own warehouse to go visiting
- \[2026-08-03\] Players standing in the same warehouse hall can now see each other - before that everyone in the warehouse was invisible to everyone else
- \[2026-08-03\] Warehouse visits now work across sessions too: every player gets an 8-character warehouse code, and the visitor door has tabs for session players, crew mates and typed codes
- \[2026-08-03\] You decide who may visit your warehouse - nobody, crew only, or anyone with your code - and pressing NEW CODE instantly locks out everyone who had the old one
- \[2026-08-03\] Visiting an offline player shows their hall as a snapshot: the building and everything in it stands exactly where they put it, but machines don't run and containers show up empty
- \[2026-08-03\] Other players' aquariums are no longer empty glass boxes - you now see the fish they put on display swimming in there, anywhere in the game, not just during a warehouse visit
- \[2026-08-03\] Aquariums also stay stocked when you visit an offline player's warehouse - the aquarium is the one container that shows its contents, everything else (tanks, pallets, chests) stays empty on a visit
- \[2026-08-03\] The warehouse decor tab is split into BUILDING, FURNITURE and PLUSHIES, so the shop and the build hotbar aren't one endless list anymore
- \[2026-08-03\] The build hotbar now shows nine pieces at a time with a page counter, and the mouse wheel flips through pages and categories - every piece is reachable with keys 1-9 again, no matter how much decor there is
- \[2026-08-03\] Buying something at the Warehouse Dealer jumps the hotbar to the page the piece is on
- \[2026-08-03\] The Warehouse Dealer window is wider and fits five items per row
- \[2026-08-03\] In build mode you can now aim at decor from much further away to move (E) or remove (R) it - handy for pieces hanging high on a wall or standing on a shelf
- \[2026-08-03\] Loads of new decor at the Warehouse Dealer - the shop went from a handful of pieces to 38
- \[2026-08-03\] New BUILDING pieces: modular walls, floors, windows and single/double doors next to the corrugated wall parts, so you can split your hall into rooms yourself
- \[2026-08-03\] New furniture: couch, L-shaped sofa, kingsize bed, pool table, washing machine, office screen, a red shoebox and a reclining Anubis statue
- \[2026-08-03\] New PLUSHIES tab with 21 plushies to collect and put up anywhere in your warehouse

### Fixes

Aug 2, 2026

\[2026-08-03\] Scooter and ATV can no longer drive along the bottom of the sea - shallow water is fine, but deeper water floods the engine, throws you back on land and sinks the vehicle
**Added**

- \[2026-08-03\] Scooter and ATV can no longer drive along the bottom of the sea - shallow water is fine, but deeper water floods the engine, throws you back on land and sinks the vehicle
- \[2026-08-03\] New Crew Leaderboard board in the world: ranks every crew by gold earned and fish caught, highlights your own crew and shows your rank even if you are not in the top 12

**Improved**

- \[2026-08-02\] Case Viewer rebuilt: all cases are listed side by side (Bobber / Rod / Streak tabs) instead of hidden behind a dropdown, the skins now show as cards, and everything is readable from a normal distance
- \[2026-08-02\] Case Viewer now shows the real drop chance per rarity (with a distribution bar and the top drop of each case) instead of just how many skins are in it
- \[2026-08-02\] Case Viewer: you can filter a case's skins by rarity, and by bobber/rod in cases that hold both
- \[2026-08-02\] Nights are a lot easier to see in now — the moon lights the island instead of the sun sitting under the ground doing nothing
- \[2026-08-03\] Casting far now pays off: the further your bait lands, the sooner a fish bites (up to 25% faster) - the power bar shows the distance and the bonus while you charge

**Fixed**

- \[2026-08-02\] Fixed: a passenger sitting in a boat got deleted when the boat's owner spawned a new boat — the old boat now stays until everyone has left it
- \[2026-08-02\] Fixed: when the host left and someone else took over, the in-game clock, the weather and every timed event (fishing hotspot, tournament, export ship, Megalodon) froze on their last state — they now keep running under the new host
- \[2026-08-02\] Fixed: after a host change the Megalodon could swim off to the middle of the map, show up twice in the same event window, or stay out far longer than its hour
- \[2026-08-02\] Fixed: after a host change the export ship could dock a second time on the same day, and the tournament timer restarted from scratch
- \[2026-08-02\] Fixed: icons like the coin, the fish and the arrows were invisible for some players — the game now ships its own emoji font instead of relying on one being installed on your PC
- \[2026-08-02\] Fixed: buttons and labels that had an icon next to text lost the icon entirely (things like "Forge", "PRICE up", "NEW SPECIES" and the transfer arrows)
- \[2026-08-02\] The dig-up popup now shows a gem for treasure and a gift for a case instead of plain squares
- \[2026-08-02\] The action wheel is much easier to read now — darker background, a solid ring behind the options, brighter labels and a stronger highlight on whatever you have selected
- \[2026-08-02\] You can only have one bait active at a time now — buying or equipping another while one is still running is blocked instead of silently overwriting it and wasting your gold
- \[2026-08-02\] Your active bait and its remaining time now survive leaving the game — the timer is paused while you are away
- \[2026-08-02\] A bait from a login reward no longer overwrites a bait you already have running, it goes into your pressed bait stash instead
- \[2026-08-02\] Bug fixed: crash after the boat vanished — placed auto-rods kept working with a dead player reference
- \[2026-08-03\] Bug fixed: the Cast Distance bonus on rods and bobbers actually works now - it was shown in the HUD and tablet but did nothing to your throw

### Added: \[2026-08-02\] Each fish's fight style is shown during the fight and listed in its Codex…

Aug 2, 2026

\[2026-08-02\] Every landed fish is now graded on how hard you were on the line: a Perfect Fight adds +12 quality, a Clean Fight +5 (only counts in the Fish Factory, raw price is unchanged)
**Added**

- \[2026-08-02\] Each fish's fight style is shown during the fight and listed in its Codex entry
- \[2026-08-02\] Every landed fish is now graded on how hard you were on the line: a Perfect Fight adds +12 quality, a Clean Fight +5 (only counts in the Fish Factory, raw price is unchanged)
- \[2026-08-02\] The power bar now has a sweet spot near the top: release inside it for a Perfect Cast that lands quietly and gets you a bite sooner
- \[2026-08-02\] New Match Fishing: challenge a nearby player from the Action Wheel to a 5 minute head-to-head, biggest single fish wins
- \[2026-08-02\] Match Fishing can be played for a stake of 100, 500 or 2500 gold (or none) — both stakes go in up front and the winner takes the pot plus 400 XP

**Improved**

- \[2026-08-02\] The underwater cam now sits fixed in the water in front of you and pans after the fish instead of flying along with it
- \[2026-08-02\] Hooked fish no longer slide along a straight line — they wander a little in every direction and drift up and down while they fight
- \[2026-08-02\] Fish swim much more naturally during the fight: they now face the way they're actually swimming, lean into their turns, tip their nose up when rising, and wag their tail sideways instead of rolling over on their own axis

### New Skins

\[2026-08-01\] New Ornate Bobber Box with 11 new bobber skins: 6 embossed ones in bright colours and 5 obsidian ones in dark glassy tones

- \[2026-08-01\] Fade Rods now use a real two-colour gradient rendered on the rod itself, instead of a tinted texture
