You start with a pick and a wall of loam. Every click takes a chunk out of the node in front of you, every broken node pays ore, and enough ore buys a second pair of hands. Then a drill. Then a machine that swings better than you do.

Fifteen strata sit between you and the bottom of the mountain. Each one retints the chamber, the lamps and the fog, and each one is harder and richer than the last. Rock health climbs 1.155x per depth while ore climbs 1.225x, so going down always pays. The only question is how fast you can get there.

When the shaft stops paying, you collapse it. Ore, crew and gear are gone. You walk out with relics and spend them on 24 permanent talents across five branches, including the automation that plays the early game for you next time. The next shaft goes deeper on less work.

Gems survive a collapse too, and gems buy coffers. Coffers hold skins: 105 of them across 21 sets and five slots, at six rarities. Every skin is generated from a seed, so two people holding the same legendary have different crystal patterns, different surface finishes and different purity. A 95 percent roll turns up about once in 150. Equipping one reskins the chamber you are actually mining in, not a portrait in a menu.
