You step through the front door of the Morning Inn looking for a warm meal and a place to rest, but the front door has a funny way of disappearing behind you once you’re inside.
The fire is burning low, and the parlor is full of strange people who don't seem in any hurry to leave. If you want a room, or any answers at all, you have to play by the house rules. That means pulling up a chair and taking your chances at the tables.
Around the room, different pastimes and bets are always running. You might find yourself testing your reflexes against a sly regular, trying to read a stranger’s poker face over a deck of worn cards, or rolling dice on games where the rules feel just a little off. Some tables demand pure strategy and patience, while others come down to a lucky break or knowing when to cut your losses. Win, and you earn coins, quiet respect, and access to parts of the inn that were locked a moment ago. Lose, and you’ll just have to dig into your pockets and try again.
Nobody is in a rush to explain what this place really is or where morning actually went. But the more games you clear, the closer you get to figuring out what keeps this whole inn ticking.
