1 + Round is a 1v1 arena FPS inspired by Gunfight, with short rounds, changing weapons, and randomized layouts. Play against another player or take on a bot with Easy, Normal, or Hard difficulty.
Winning a round gives you a choice: BANK your points to secure them, or choose ONE MORE ROUND and risk them for a bigger payout. Win again, and the pot grows. Lose, and those unbanked points are gone. The first player to bank 7 points wins the match.
Before you risk it, you can see the possible modifiers and weapons for the next round. Your opponent chooses the modifier, so you have to weigh the reward against the fight you might be getting into. Low gravity, headshots-only fights, and High Noon revolver duels can change how you approach the next round.
Sprint, crouch, and slide through an arena that changes between rounds, with a pixelated visual style. You can also use Sandbox to practice with weapons, test movement, and fight bots.
This is my first game, originally made for the One More Round Game Jam. I've put a lot of time into it, and I'm still working on improving and expanding it. I've used ChatGPT for programming help, while handling the game's design, testing, balancing, and visual direction myself.
